SUPPLY

SUPPLY & PERSONAL ATTITUDE

The race follows small mountain paths, sometimes crossing green meadows, sometimes forests and shaded clearings.

The route is hilly and follows the first part of constant climbs for a total elevation gain of approximately 770 meters. Mostly, it follows wide medium mountain trails, but also alpine areas, and narrow trails with some predominantly rocky areas with steep slopes. Be careful where you step.

Each kilometer is marked by highly visible signs or colored stripes.
Varied supplies of water and solid food are installed at the 6th, 11th kilometers and at the finish.

Mont Salève remains a mountain. The route crosses paths with risk of falls. Be careful, stay focused and be kind to other competitors. Take the time to see what's going on around you.
As the route uses alpine areas, there may be herds in the immediate vicinity of the route. Be careful.

The recommended equipment is as follows: (water bag or can), food reserve, survival blanket, whistle, charged mobile phone, and clothing adapted to climatic conditions and to the type of mountain paths crossed. Sticks are strongly discouraged.
The organization is particularly vigilant about the quality of supplies (organic and local), as well as the fact of limiting its impact on the environment: bins WITH SORTING are at your disposal at the starting points, points of ravito, and arrival. Do not throw anything outside of these collection points.

Any competitor caught throwing or leaving waste on the course is liable to
immediate elimination of the test.
